We have just completed work on the packaging of a DVD/Blu-ray series for the BFI of films by the Japanese master filmmaker, Yasujiro Ozu. These exquisite dramas (the first of an ongoing series) offer an intimate portrait of domestic life while offering an unflinching insight into the deeper nature of human nature relationships. BFI – Secrets of Nature

The latest release in our ongoing work for the BFI is the fascinating ‘Secrets of Nature’ DVD.This pioneering series exploring animal, plant and insect life, made wondrous worlds and natural processes visible for the first time. Made by enterprising men and women at the forefront of science and nature filmmaking, these films developed groundbreaking techniques of time-lapse, microscopic and underwater cinematography – paving the way for the natural history programmes that we know and love today.

BFI – Went The Day Well?

We recently completed a poster for the BFI‘s release of ‘Went The Day Well?’. More a ‘wartime thriller’ than a typical ‘war film’, Alberto Cavalcanti’s 1942 film, from a story by Graham Greene, about a small village in the heart of England coming under Nazi attack, still has the power to shock.

Mayfield Media Strategies – Website

We have recently been commissioned to re-design the Mayfield Media Strategies website. MMS are specialists in business development for the exhibitions industry. The company is based in the UK and has clients all over the world.

We have worked with MMS for many years since designing their brand identity. The design will bring the website into line with the original brand identity work and develop the brand to reflect the growth of this international company. The site is scheduled to go live within the next two months.

A recent photoshoot with Clare Park – commissioned by Eureka! has resulted in some fantastic promotional pictures of Anna John and Steve Monnington, both Partners at MMS.

Volcano Theatre Company

We have recently won a four-way pitch to design the new brand identity for Volcano Theatre Company, an international touring company based in Swansea.

The brief was to create an exciting and dynamic brand which reflected Volcano’s energetic, unpredictable and visceral theatre and position the company as a key player in ground breaking international theatre.

We are currently working on brand guidelines, stationery, brochure and their exciting new play Shelf Life, an audience adventure exploring the Old Swansea Central Library, guided by a choir of librarians! This will be co-produced with the National Theatre of Wales.

We will be consulting on the design of a new website, working with Tincan design in Wales. We will keep you up to date on its development.
